Autobiography

In the middle of the rainy season, there was a pregnant girl who gave birth to her daughter. On August 15, 2003, when I was born, that day was the exact date of our patronal fiesta in our barangay. Everyone eagerly awaited the chance to meet me, especially my mother. I brought joy to her when she saw me.I am the youngest daughter of Josephine and Ruben. I am the youngest, but I am the strongest.

I started studying when I was five years old. My mother is the one who enrolled me in Mabantad South Elementary School. When I was a child, my biggest dream was to become a nurse because I wanted to help those in need. I was a shy and quiet girl during my elementary days, but I had lots of friends back then. I had a lot of fun in elementary school. There are bad and good days, and there are also memories that are still fresh in my mind that I will forever cherish.

I entered high school at Cauayan City National High School-Main. My new classmates are new faces to me. I don’t know them, and my friends in elementary school are not my classmates. I gained friends during my high school years. They are nice and kind to me. In school, I was always quiet; I was still the shy girl who always preferred to listen to music and watch series. Sometimes I prefer to be alone because I want to have time to myself to think about random things. High school was a transformative period in my life. While I remained the quiet and introspective girl who found solace in music and solitude, it was during these years that I began to develop a deeper understanding of myself.

I was in 10th grade when they decided to transfer me to Quezon City. The school year started, and I was two weeks late when I transferred to Quezon City. At first, it was hard to adjust because I am a transfer student and I don’t know anyone there except for my cousins. The environment in Manila is different from our province. When the rain doesn’t stop, sometimes they cancel the class because of floods. After months of adjusting and rushing activity because I was two weeks late,I gained friends and met different people who have different stories in life. They are amazing and kind to me.

I faced difficulties in life and challenges that made me who I am today. Sometimes, overthinking negative thoughts eats me up, but I always say to myself that I can do it, and no matter how hard life is, I will never give up and will be a fighter for my dreams.

My high school days are unforgettable and amazing because I met a lot of people and became one of their friends. I want to continue my studies in our province, which is Isabela. I decided to go home and enroll in senior high school here in Cauayan City, National High School. We are complete again, my trio of friends, whom I leave. We have a good relationship and bond. They were one of my best friends until now. I had a hard time sometimes in my life, but I remained calm to face those challenges, fight in silence, and win.
